Georgee Full of Grace sometimes walks

To the Blue Djinn Suleiman Lagoon at night

Just after Paul, the Second Sighted Sun sets

Into the Ice Melt sea to rest at the base of Yggdrasil, the world tree.

His Ever After Complement, Peter the Pumpkin Reader

Goes with him for he will not stay long

And because they are both considered children

The Cardinal Elders decree does not permit them to exit through the walls unaccompanied.

The Whirly Gurdy Hurdy Girdy Flying Sherriff sends Barney,

 one of his teeny tiny clockwork deputies,

as a courtesy and a guard to watch over them and scan

The horizon for dangers such as the Bogey Man.

They leave Fred, their Eugenie Fox butler, to stay

With the Mickee Four in their Pumpkin Cottage

Just outside the Nutcracker Castle, off Gregor Lane,

And they walk swiftly across the Parish Green to the postern gate.

Sometimes they meet the Elder Lord Just in Time the Sunshine Sandyman

Collecting one or two grains of sand

So he can study their lattice structures and crystalline properties

And blend them into his latest blown glass plans.

Georgee knows and is well known by the solitary

Clockwork Nutcracker Guard who stands by

The Posturn Gate, and he calls him Steve,

And the Guard may or may not know or understand.

Sometimes, Georgee doesn’t stay long

And simply gazes into the night sky

To view the vast expanse of the Rama Fields

Of the Govinda Galaxy.

Sometimes, Georgee seems lost in time

And holds his arms high as though welcoming

Someone and waiting for a reply from space

And it is then that Peter calls him home.

Sometimes they walk home by the Queen Vicky

Station

And meet Chew Choo Charles the Trainman

As he returns from one of his Graviton Transport runs

And is eager to get back to the Vicarage to sleep and to dream.

Sometimes they take the long way round

By the Borough where the Eugenie Folk live

And The Great Cassie Ander Clock on the tower

Rises high above the Eugenie Hippo Mayor Gertrude’s office.

Then, they climb up the hill to make a quick

Visit to Will the Wishing Well who once

Delved too deep into the unCERN Ten Seas Mines

And now waits for the word that will give him release.

Georgee always shares a word with Will

Which he breathes deep into the well

With his own cherry fresh proto-star Entanglement

And High Sand Bird Song melody which he learned from

Nimble Phil.
